This 3-inch kudamono parer from the Professional S series provides the excellence expected from Zwilling J.A. Henckels, the upscale partner of Henckels International. The Professional S series blends traditional handles with precision-honed, state-of-the-art blades. This particular paring blade features the hollow edge of the Japanese-style kudamono knife. Due to air pockets along the edge, food falls away from the blade more easily, resulting in exceptionally thin slices. In addition to chopping fruits and vegetables, the parer is also adept at slicing soft cheeses that stick to most blades. Professional S knives are constructed of premium German high-carbon, no-stain steel. Blades are Friodur ice hardened for increased ability to hold an edge and take resharpening. Classically styled handles feature the strength of a full tang and triple rivets, while an enhanced bolster adds to the balance. Henckels recommends washing and drying all fine knives immediately after use. Made in Germany
